Google Announces New Chrome OS
Google has introduced a new open source operating system based on their Chrome web browser. It will initially run on netbooks. I wonder if this will pose a threat to both Microsoft Windows and Apple's OS X at some point in the future, and offer a cheaper computing option for schools? Read more here and here.
